ACT / SAT / AP

College Entrance Exams are an important part of your college application. All colleges require that a student take either the ACT or the SAT exam. They use these exams to help when selecting students for admissions, as well as placing students in the correct level for English and math.

Which test is necessary to take depends on the college you are applying to. All of the colleges in Utah accept the ACT. However, if you are considering going out of state to college, check their website to determine if you need to take the ACT or the SAT. Every college is different. Don’t assume that what is accepted at one, will be accepted at the other.
