Registering a New Student

Process for Pre-Enrollment each school year:

Bring ALL the materials listed below (under New Students) to the Bingham High Attendance Office (801-256-5110).

If your student completes the enrollment process by or before February 18th, course requests can be completed on Skyward.
- Instructions on completing course requests can be found on the BHS website under ‘Registration’ or click HERE.
If your student completes the enrollment process by or before the beginning of May, your student may create their schedule on Arena Scheduling when it opens.
If your student completes the enrollment process after mid-May, you will need to call the BHS Main Office in JUNE to schedule a new student appointment with a counselor in AUGUST.

Counselors will NOT be available for individual new student appointments prior to August.

New Students: Out of Jordan School District, Out of State, Charter School (Never enrolled in Jordan School District)

The following items are needed before a student can enroll. These must be brought to the Attendance Office:

Copy of student’s transcript from ALL previous schools (9-12 grade)

Test Scores (state standardized test scores)
Immunization Records
Original Birth Certificate
Proof of residency/Copy of permit
1. Parents must provide 3 proofs of address; click HERE for the forms that may be submitted.
Copy of IEP (if applicable)

NOTE: You MUST notify previous school of plan to withdraw. Students CANNOT be enrolled at both schools.

New Students: In Jordan School District Transfer

Apply for a permit (click here)
Be offered a seat
Accept seat (the student will automatically be enrolled at Bingham the Monday after the seat is accepted)

ONLINE Students: Kings Peak High School

A new ONLINE high school has opened in Jordan School District. Kings Peak High School will give students flexibility for when, where, and how they learn through virtual learning. Kings Peak High School is a tuition-free online school for high school students in Utah. Students will have the option to enroll in either full or part- time. Students can enroll up to 3 courses at Kings Peak and stay at their boundary school. You can enroll now to find out more information by clicking on the provided link:
